TYWH Calcium Carbide Passed EU REACH Certification, Opening a New Chapter of Internationalisation

Wuhai TYWH Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. has successfully passed the certification of REACH regulation of the European Union, which meets the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, REACH is the core regulation of the European Union's chemical management, which is a mandatory requirement for the entry of chemicals into the European Union market.Passing the REACH certification means that TYWH has the ability to manage chemical safety to a high standard, which marks an important milestone in TYWH's quality management, environmental protection and internationalisation strategy, and TYWH will continue to cultivate the EU market and consolidate its global competitiveness.

REACH, orRegistration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals, is a European Union directive on the mandatory registration, evaluation and authorisation of all chemicals entering the European Union market and on the implementation of safety controls, which entered into force on 1 June 2007 and is administered by the European Chemicals Agency. It is administered by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). The aim of the regulation is to protect human health and the environment, and to promote the safe management of chemicals, which is a mandatory threshold for the entry of chemicals into the EU market.

TYWH was established in 2007, the factory located in Wuhai City, mainly engaged in the production of calcium carbide, as well as the provision of acetylene production, steel desulphurisation solutions, with an annual production capacity of 120,000 tonnes.
